Most of my scientific life I worked in Banach space theory. My early research concern Banach spaces with the Random-Nikodym property, differentiability of Lipschitz mapping between Banach spaces, uniform and Lipschitz classification fo Banach spaces and generalizations of the Mazur-Ulam theorem. More recently, I study random quotients of finite dimensional Banach spaces. This led to constructions of finite dimensional Banach spaces with relatively "few" well bounded linear operators and resulted in solving several problems in both local and structural theory of Banach spaces.
